Beginner/Intermediate |   8:30am - 6:00pm February & September |   Hesperia, California

The extended program is intended to provide a deeper understanding of the topics covered in the Core Curriculum workshops and provides an opportunity for further interaction with instructors and long-term apprentices. This program is ideal for students who are interested in extending their stay past the workshop, but are not able to remain for the full 10 or 12 week Long-Term Program.

The extended program includes the Cal Earth core curriculum workshop curriculum followed by a hands-on practical training period involving substantial super-adobe bag techniques and applications and a complete dome build from foundation to close.

My time at the CalEarth was the most fun I’ve had in my adult life... I now know how to not only build my own house, but how to design it as well. My fellow alumni and I grew friendships that will last a lifetime.
