Visiting Cal-Earth
Cal-Earth is a non-profit research and educational institute.

Visiting Days for the Public to view the prototype structures: (site is closed during rain)
Open House interactive tour, on the first Saturday of every month, starts 10am.
Cal-Earth has held these open houses now for over a decade, and every year more people come to experience it for themselves, and to teach their children how to build a sustainable future. Around 11am there is usually an informal talk, in the tradition of architect Nader Khalili, and around 1pm visitors share a pot-luck picnic lunch and talk/network. Cal-Earth associates and apprentices give tours and answer questions throughout the day. Most buildings are wheelchair accessible. Please no pets.
