If you have a vision for building your home, a community, or even helping others to build
theirs, or if you're ready to start construction, stop, and consider the alternatives:
Registering for a Distance Learning interactive course from home.
Learning in person at a Cal-Earth Apprenticeship Course in California, USA.
Many thousands have come to Cal-Earth Institute (a nonprofit organization) to learn in short workshops or long-term apprenticeships.
They have invested many days and often a small fortune to travel and learn, and then gone around the world building and teaching.
Yet more people are facing the difficulty of the heavy expenses of travelling to the United States.
They have urged us to put all the knowledge into books and films, and to use electronic media to make this available globally.
Therefore a number of films and documents are now available to empower these builders,
supported by distance learning from Cal-Earth and other sources.
If you have reached a turning point in your life and have the courage to invest in yourself, take the chance to
embark on this distance learning apprenticeship. Learning in these architectures will fill you with inspiration and direction to help others with
new skills in your home, city or country, and to be able to serve humanity by example.
Give us a few hours of your time each day, and we will empower you to begin the process of realizing your dream.
You will learn how to build your home, your school, your career or your entire community,
without being forced to cut a single tree; by using the earth under your feet and utilizing the elements
of sun, wind, water and fire, right where you are.
These technologies to construct a natural architecture haven't been developed from clever designs and speculation,
but from bridging traditional technology by meditation, commitment, and distilling, into future planning.
For over thirty years architect Nader Khalili followed "the essence of the essence" in Earth Architecture, researching and teaching
along with his associates and apprentices to bring building back into people's hands. Now for the 1.2 billion people
in the world living with no safe shelter and no hope of ever affording one, new hope has begun to arrive.
SUPERADOBE TECHNOLOGY COURSE:
This course will teach you how to:
1) Use the materials of war (sandbags and barbed wire) for peaceful purposes by creating natural safe shelter, structure
and infrastructure for landscaping and cityscaping.
2) Utilize a minimum amount of purchased product and maximum amounts of nature's gift of the earth under your feet,
to create a low cost shelter or home to protect against natural or man-made disasters.
3) Participate in a family or community activity by building a shelter, home, village, or other community buildings.
4) Be empowered to build and help others without any previous construction experience,
and be confident of sheltering yourself and your family whether for an emergency, or a permanent home.
5) Go anywhere in the world and use the natural elements you find around you to build.
