The following Cal-Earth alumni names and photos are a small sample of the alumni from Cal-Earth, and a start in presenting to our visitors the work that many individuals and organizations are doing after taking the apprenticeship course with Nader Khalili. The people and projects we have chosen are not necessarily the largest or most fanciful, nor are they the best known of our students, but these are the persons who have sent photos of their work and stayed in touch during their evolving journey. We know them to be impassioned individuals who have made the most of the knowledge that they have learned and are now taking it all over the world with site specific variations. We have tried to include varied examples of buildings from the more sophisticated domed clusters and large vaulted homes, to humble backyard emergency shelters and playful landscaping. We hope that this page will continue to grow as alumni write and add photographs, to provide inspiration and contact information for others who wish to build with earth, in the service of humanity and the environment.
